Labor Day Weekend
Each Labor Day weekend for 65 years, locals and visitors celebrate Henderson County's Mountain Heritage by attending the NC Apple Festival in Downtown Hendersonville. The NC Apple Festival and Street Fair covers nine blocks in Downtown Hendersonville's Historic Main Street extending from 6th Avenue to Caswell Street. There are 200 vendors, including arts and crafts and food vendors. Look for 14 apple growers and Hendersonville NC apples, children's and youth activities, special exhibits, open houses, food vendors, and continuous live entertainment.
